Consistency is Underrated!

Consistency is a very vital factor in the entertainment industry, it is essential to entertainment acts be it a musician, an actor, a comedian, a dancer, a VJ, whichever part one plays in the industry. It is what makes one a force to reckon with. It is a big determinant to your level of success.
We won’t be singing the praises of the likes of Adekunle Gold, Davido, Odunlade Adekola, Gloria Oloruntobi (Maraji), Olamide, Kunle Afolayan to mention a few; if they were not knocking us off with their stuff back to back, this is what gives us chills when we listen or observe their works.

You know many have faded away as a result of not keeping up to an earlier set vibe, they come out with good stuff today and it takes about 4 to 6 new stuff from them before they meet up with what put their praises on our lips and this brings to my remembrance one of Denzel Washington’s quotes, he said “Without commitment, you’ll never start, but more importantly, without consistency, you’ll never finish.

Same goes with being consistent in all spheres of life, someone once said consistency is the energy of change. How much have you put into what you believe that you’re getting tired? You should win small consistently; your YouTube page or blog might only manage 100 views per post for 3 years, never stop! Keep being consistent!

A lot of us don’t understand the beauty in the little daily battles, the confidence in the victories, the wisdom and growth in the losses, the development in consistency, the ultimate in the little.
The daily battles won ultimately wins the grand war of life; small disciplines repeated with consistency everyday leads to great achievement gained slowly overtime. If you want to grow, don’t try to win big, try to win small.
